He just needs to be named JIM!

Jims ran the state pretty well for 22 years. It's been a disaster ever since especially since the democrats took their stranglehold completely in 2002.

Speaking of Governors named Jim. If it wasn't for a recurrence of his heart difficuilties in 2003 Jim Edgar was possibly going to run for Senate in 2004. He probably would have beaten Obama as he possibly is the most popular politican across the board in recent memory.

Even a democrat once told me to balance it out the state may be better off with a Republican in Springfield and a democrat in Chicago especially if they get along.

Daley was much more able to work with Edgar and Thompson than he ever was with Blago or Quinn.
