Even though there's a humanitarian crises charities aren't allowed leeway to help the needy? It's not like the refuge is packed with people.
Allowances for humanitarian reasons must be made or we are nothing. Not even a country much less the beautiful United States of America.

The issue is not the law but instead it's the fact that the prosecution and conviction of four women that were saving lives by their actions was an unjust prosecution. Prosecution for committing a humanitarian act is always an unjust prosecution.

Instead of being prosecuted the government should have been ensuring that these women had the proper permits that would allow them to leave the water and food that is known to save lives.

Note: The federal courts have already ruled that state and federal agents cannot destroy the water or food and must leave it where they find it if they come across it because it saves lives.

Based upon the corruption, brutality, inhumanity, immorality, dishonesty, and incompetence of the Trump administration the White House is the dirtiest house in America and there's no known cleanser that with remove the stains of the Trump Administration.

The prosecution violated the code of conduct for prosecutors where seeking justice overrides the obtaining of a conviction. The prosecutor in this case should be discharged for abuse of power because they sought a conviction and not justice for the women.

They were also guilty of driving a motorized vehicle and littering in a wildlife refuge.

The issue is the law.

Since when is it the government's responsibility to ensure that you have the proper permits? Or for that matter that you are driving in an authorized area? I've had dozens of government issued permits and licenses. Spent thousands keeping them up to date. Not once has the government notified me a permit was about to expire.

These women were encouraging people to come into the country illegally through a wildlife preserve. It's human nature... no it's just nature.

If I notice that there are birds in my back yard during the winter and I'm worried about them dying from lack of food, so I put out bird food and water for them, soon my back yard will be filled with birds.

For my backyard, that might be fine. For human traffic through a wildlife preserve, it's not.

Please provide validation (by credible sources) that this 'saved lives'.
