Exclamation Sessions will end policy that allowed marijuana to prosper: report

Sessions will end policy that allowed legalized marijuana to prosper | TheHill

Attorney General Jeff Sessions will end a policy that allowed legal marijuana to prosper in the United States, The Associated Press reported Thursday.

The news outlet cited two individuals who were not authorized to speak about the matter prior to an impending announcement.

The policy change will provide states where marijuana is legalized to choose how they will enforce pot laws.

- This is a developing report

I really don't have a problem with states deciding how they will enforce their pot laws
after they decide to make it legal in certain conditions.....

I read that part over several times and I think it is talking about "enforcing," federal laws since it says "will provide states where marijuana is legalized to choose how they will enforce pot laws".
enforcing doesn't seem to equal ignoring.
But as the report says we will hear more later. I imagine the justice dept leaked this intentionally to prepare people. I also doubt there will be some great upheaval-like FCC and EPA - but it wouldn't hurt to call a congressman and voice your opinion.
