Default Natalie Wood's cause of death changed from 'Accident' to 'Undetermined'

Natalie Wood's death certificate was changed in late June from "Accident" to "Undetermined," TMZ reported.

According to TMZ, the L.A. County Coroner filed the documents late last month and informed Wood's family of the change. Detectives said the change was made in part due to bruises on Wood's body that were inconsistent with death by drowning.

Wood died November 29, 1981 after an alcohol-fueled party on a boat off Catalina with Robert Wagner and Christopher Walken on board.

Family members were told that authorities cannot definitely prove Wood's death was an accident or due to foul play, TMZ reported.

According to the report, Wood's death was definitely due to drowning, but the manner in which she ended up in the water is unknown.

The investigation is still active.

I remember and I still care,I've had my suspicions for years. Those bruises on Wood's body are troubling,I also read they had an argument that night. This much I know for sure,I miss Natalie and her wonderful talent.

My brother looks like recently retired Cub Kerry Wood and likes to say he looks like Kerry Wood and unfortunately for his wallet pitches like Natalie Wood.

I always thought there was more to the story. But her sister is milking this for publicity and its all about her if you see her interviewed.

I don't care if her sister milks it. Her husband getting married so soon to a younger version of her...I hope Walken isn't implicated but I'd like to know the truth and let justice be done.
