the State Gov determines if you're sick, or been near some who's has been, and removes you to an appropriate facility. "temporally" of course.

They detained all those terrorist "SUSPECTS" indefinitely too didn't they? So this must be fine as well right? constitutional too.

BTW, we should remember that the 1st people who were taken away in Germany were taken to medical facilities... and they weren't Jews, they were the handicapped, the so-called mentally ill and such.

Again, my ancestor was born on a quarantine island where his dad worked at the behest of a President. This is not as scary as everyone you know and love dying.

The internment camps the Japanese-Americans were in were pretty nice as well i understand.

I have to say
It's AMZING to me that people on the left are PRO-Censorship and book burning/deleting websites and post.
That people on the left are Pro discrimination.
That people on the left are Pro-Forced medications.
That people on the left are PRO-gov't IDs to work, dine, travel, or enter public transportation and venues.
That people on the left are even PRO-internment camps! God help us.

And still can manage to call TRUMP and his supporters fascist.

For years I've understood the authoritarian Nanny state nature of a lot of the left but i never really thought i see it become so blatant and soooo un-selfaware.

It's sad to watch.

And Frankly i'm not sure which is worse watching leftist loose ALL so-called principals in a mad rush to keep safe From Covid (and climate change next) by the gov't controlling everyone cradle to grave.

Or watching those on the right loose ALL so-called principals in a mad rush to keep us safe of all from terrorist! (or Iran or Iraq or China or Libya) by flag waving, surveilling everyone and killing everything that looks at us cross eyed.

Fear is a POWERFUL motivator.

the saddest thing is that NEITHER SIDE has much fear of LOSING our freedoms.
And NO real passion to really restore them to pre- 911 levels.
the so-called emergencies only work ONE WAY.
Or at best, 7 step forward a half step back.

Because, if the gov't doesn't have all this control over us then we might all die!
