Default pregnant mum Arrested for facebook post about lockdown protest

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-n...front-22616543
A sobbing pregnant woman was arrested in front of her two children over a 'anti-lockdown Facebook post'.
Video shows the moment Zoe Lee Buhler, 28, was placed in handcuffs inside her home - one hour before she was due to have an ultrasound.
Footage shows police officers entering the mum's lounge in Ballarat, Melbourne, with a search warrant, which she immediately questioned.
One officer informs Ms Buhler that she is under arrest for incitement, before he reads out her rights in front of her.
A confused Ms Buhler then responds: "Excuse me, incitement for what? What one earth? I'm in my pyjamas. I have an ultrasound in an hour because I'm pregnant," while she is being handcuffed.
The officer then explains that Ms Buhler made a Facebook post in relation to an anti-lockdown protest.

The mum-of-two insists that she didn't break any rules with the post, before the officer interrupts her "Actually you are, that's why we're arresting you in relation to incitement."
Ms Buhler and her boyfriend, James Timmins, then try to plea with officers and offer to take the post down to avoid the arrest, but police said it was too late, adding: "You've already committed the offence."
Her alleged offending post was linked to a since-deleted 'Freedom Day Ballarat' event she created for 11am on Saturday on Sturt Street, Mail Online reports.

"Anyone from Ballarat please join us in our fight for freedom and human rights!" she wrote on Sunday with a link to the event page.
Ms Buhler then bursts into tears as the officers explain that they will seize all electronic devices in her home.
She was charged with later incitement released on bail to face Ballarat Magistrates Court on January 25 next year.
Ms Buhler's Facebook live video, which captures the moment she was arrested, has been viewed more than 1.6 million times and has seen more than 25,000 people react to it...

But hey
the LAW is the LAW right? If she'd just OBEY and stop talking about rights she would be fine.
Just OBEY whatever the gov't says no matter what they say, they know best. right?

Plus we live in free country it would never happen here. right?

The Australian snowflakes no doubt are proud of the way they cower under the government's power to control them. They make good subjects.

I'm thankful that I live in a country where you can't get arrested for a facebook post.

Freedom to speak doesn't guarantee you an audience,

And censored, blocked, banned, tracked, are also freedom of speech.

she's bailed awaiting court proceedings there in Australia.

“Victoria Police is aware of a prohibited gathering which is planned for Ballarat on Saturday,” Victoria Police told Yahoo News Australia in an emailed statement.

“Any gathering of this nature is in blatant breach of the Chief Health Officer’s directions and puts Victorian lives at risk.”

Under government Stage 3 restrictions for regional Victoria, people are only allowed to gather outdoors with only one other person from their household.

In Melbourne Metro areas residents are in lockdown and must stay home unless they are leaving for shopping for food and essential items, medical care or caregiving, exercise, and permitted work if you can’t work or study from home.

So? Apparently you don't understand the point of the thread. I would explain it to you but I would just be wasting my time.

yeah you think this is about freedom of speech. I disagree. I think you and anyone else who incites people not to take health precautions is very foolish. You Karens at Cosco are prolonging the pandemic. Apparently Australian authorities also think you would put others at risk needlessly.
