China Banning People From Transit for Bad “Social Credit” Scores
and so it begins in full in China...

“once untrustworthy, always restricted”
SHANGHAI (Reuters) - China said it will begin applying its so-called social credit system to flights and trains and stop people who have committed misdeeds from taking such transport for up to a year.
People who would be put on the restricted lists included those found to have committed acts like spreading false information about terrorism and causing trouble on flights, as well as those who used expired tickets or smoked on trains, according to two statements issued on the National Development and Reform Commission’s website on Friday.
Those found to have committed financial wrongdoings, such as employers who failed to pay social insurance or people who have failed to pay fines, would also face these restrictions, said the statements which were dated March 2.
It added that the rules would come into effect on May 1.
The move is in line with President’s Xi Jinping’s plan to construct a social credit system based on the principle of “once untrustworthy, always restricted”, said one of the notices which was signed by eight ministries, including the country’s aviation regulator and the Supreme People’s Court.
China has flagged plans to roll out a system that will allow government bodies to share information on its citizens’ trustworthiness and issue penalties based on a so-called social credit score.
However, there are signs that the use of social credit scoring on domestic transport could have started years ago. In early 2017, the country’s Supreme People’s Court said during a press conference that 6.15 million Chinese citizens had been banned from taking flights for social misdeeds.

Well this is great right?
Gov't should be straitening out all these lowlifes, why should those IMMORAL low social credit people get to ride the bus or train?
Heck maybe they shouldn't be able to buy food either. i'm sure the Chinese gov't will draw the line in the right place... for the safety and health of society.

but it will never happen here...

Pretty sure this was the plot for an episode of Black Mirror. If I recall right, everyone was connected to a social media network with what basically was a social credit score. Anyone could add or subtract points from your score, and how much of society you could access was dependent on said score.

Very creepy that it's sort of becoming a thing anywhere in the real world.

Right here in America, we have groups of people who gave themselves authority to restrict government employees (some elected) from eating in restaurants or going to other establishments...

This technological bullshlt will quickly get out of control.

Today's "wonders", the electronic engineer types, have the imagination of a wart's brain. Instead of developing technology to help mankind, they develop ways to help Big Brother keep the population under his control. It is much easier to kiss the asses of government bureaucrats than to find ways to benefit ordinary people.

I get along perfectly fine without any damned "smart" device from Hell's anus.

Of course it will happen here. This is the ultimate dream of the progressives. Total group-think. No allowance for other thought or anti-social behavior(their definition).

Sorry to say it but as some have pointed out, it will happen here. It already does. But before the effort can be a complete success, the Progressives must remove the guarantees offered by the first and second amendment. Watch as those are eroded over the next decade.

As has been noted, the mice die in traps because they do not understand why the cheese is free.

The only way any of our unalienable rights can be removed or eroded is if true Americans take both their thumbs and shove them up their rectums, and allow the progressive monkeys free reign over the country.

Tell the ass holes to go chew some prunes!
