Default I have got 2 concepts about the US and they can't be compatible one another.

From some reports or articles that I read, it seems that the living level of the ordinary Americans don't develop in recent years.

However, those ordinary American couples seem not to stop adopting those disabled Chinese children, who typically were abandoned by their Chinese parents when they're very young.

On one side, I think these adopting actions are a true affection for children which has crossed the board and the human species, but on the other side, I can't help asking how can they feed these disabled children?

????????????? ??????[1]- ?????

There're still some pictures I don't paste here, and you can go to see them if they interest you.

Besides this fortunate girl, the other American couples also adopt some Chinese children who suffer CHD or other diseases.

They not only adopt them but also take them to go to see American doctors. If it's necessary they would like to spend money to treat them or let them get surgeries. Seems that it's not expensive to get a cardiac surgery in the US.

And here's a video I saw yesterday evening on Facebook, whose name is If you saw this little girl on the street, would you pass right by?:

https://www.facebook.com/unicef/vide...2/?pnref=story

Sure, this video hadn't been shot in the US, but also in a developed western country. However, I think people are responding the way that they should respond in this video.

Normally, If a girl losed her arms and her parents didn't want to abandon her, her life would be like this in China's villages:

【中国人的一天】深山无臂女孩坚强求生_新闻_腾讯网

The following pictures taken by a photographer in more than 10 years recounts a village girl's life.

In November, 2002, Mr. Chen Yong Heng, a photographer loving natural scenes from Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, went to Western Hunan Province to collect beautiful scenes. He saw these 3 young children carrying the heavy straws on their backs on his way to a scenic spot. He took this picture by his photograph instinct. Although he didn't feel something strange when he took this picture, he looked back over his shoulder and found that the girl's sleeves were empty after he passed the children. It's the 1st when Mr. Chen saw Miss Xiang Li Ping and at that time she's 14 and brought her 2 younger brothers to the mountain to cut grass.

Since hurrying on with his journey, Mr. Chen only remembered Miss Xiang Li Ping's appearance at the time. In 2003, Mr. Chen went to Western Hunan Province again and this time he went out of his way to look for her home and knew her miserable story. In 1992, the girl was only 4 and got an electric shock in a rainy day. The result of this accident was that her arms had been high amputated, which brought bitterness but also heavy financial burden to this family. In order to feed Miss Xiang and her 2 younger brothers, her parents left the hometown to Guangdong Province to do work for others. And her grandparents started to raise her and her 2 younger brothers, one is 1 and another 3.

The home of Miss Xiang is in the Bamian Mountain (e.g. the only you can see is mountain wherever you look at) of Longshan County, which is on the board between Hunan Province and Sichuan Province. The steep mountains obstruct the people's going out. Longshan County is an impoverished county, in which Bamian Mountain is the most impoverished. There're 7 people in Miss Xiang's home: grandpa, grandma, papa, mama, and 2 younger brothers. They fed 1 buffalo, and planted about ten mus of corn. The life was poor though, no other things to worry about except money. But since Miss Xiang got electric shock, this family would have to be busy for survival.

After her parents went to Guangdong Province to do work for others, they seldom went to home. The 3 children losing their parens' caring about lived like the wild grass. The other peers in the village now and then helped Miss Xiang to wash her hair, but in the most of times they would have to rely on themselves to solve the most problems they met.

Since 2003, every time when Mr. Chen went to Western Hunan Province to collect the beautiful scene spots, he would bring some money and things to give Miss Xiang Li Ping and at the same time recorded this no-arms girl's growth process. In September of 2004, Miss Xiang took the buffalo of her family to the mountain to graze. She had to fix the rope with her chin and neck like this, so every time she would have to pull the rope with all her strength as a thin girl.

In addition to graze the buffalo, she also went to the mountain to cut grass to feed the other animals in the home with her grandma.

Since the parents weren't in the home and the grandparents were so old, Miss Xiang thought that she must worked as possible as she could as the oldest daughter. When her grandparents cooked, Miss Xiang fixed the bamboo tube with her legs and blew through the tube to the stove. The rising ashes always got in her eyes.
