Default Those Children Rushing Their Homes in the Chinese Lunar New Year

Everytime when the Chinese Lunar New Year is coming, lots of children will come back their hometowns to visit their grandparents and other relatives with their parents from the cities where they work or study or live. At the end of the vacation, they will return the cities. I guess these photos being taken in the railway stations. What a hard journey!

Esmee.

What delightful photos. You truly have a talent for finding them.
You provide a lovely window into your world from a perspective we seldom get to see here in the USA.

Many thanks.

Please, keep those pictures coming

Great pictures!

I saw a good tv programme a couple of years ago. It was about a mum and dad who worked in the clothes manufacturing industry in a large Chinese city and every new year went back on the long train journey to their home in the village where their children lived with their grandparents. The parents earned a good living and lived cheaply in the city in order to provide for their own parents and their children. It was sad to see families split like that.

Are you near Shenzhen? One of my daughters was considering moving there to teach but has decided against it and may go to Japan or South Korea instead.

Of course not. I happened to see them in a forum. Except for taking the photos of the books I'm reading, I don't take any photos to post in this forum.

They're only parts of who would move from a place where they work in a clothes manufacturing or an electronic equipment factory or a restaurant to where they come from in the new year vacation. Many employers or teacher lecturers or advanced employees who have bought their own apartments in the big cities where they're working or studying would go back their hometowns in the new year vacation. Going back the hometown is just a traditional custom.

No. The distance between Shenzhen and Wuhan is about 1,200 kilometers.
