![]() Man the picture at this site shows so many people on the run in a barron lackluster patch of land...
I feel for these people but not the cause. When this first started they should have come up with a solution.... Murder is not a solution. About 60,000 Syrian Kurds flee to Turkey from Islamic State advance . Reuters By Daren Butler 22 hours ago SURUC Turkey (Reuters) - About 60,000 Syrian Kurds fled into Turkey in the space of 24 hours, a deputy prime minister said on Saturday, as Islamic State militants seized dozens of villages close to the border. Turkey opened a stretch of the frontier on Friday after Kurdish civilians fled their homes, fearing an imminent attack on the border town of Ayn al-Arab, also known as Kobani. A Kurdish commander on the ground said Islamic State had advanced to within 15 km (9 miles) of the town. Local Kurds said they feared a massacre in Kobani, whose strategic location has been blocking the radical Sunni Muslim militants from consolidating their gains across northern Syria. The United States has said it is prepared to carry out airstrikes in Syria to stop the advances of Islamic State, which has also seized tracts of territory in neighbouring Iraq and has proclaimed a caliphate in the heart of the Middle East. U.S. forces have bombed the group in Iraq at the request of the government, but it is unclear when or where any military action might take place in Syria, whose president, Bashar al-Assad, Washington says is no longer legitimate. ......................................... ![]() As things deteriorate on the ground obama fumbles the ball. He claims a coalition, but it is not existent. Not one of our allies are willing to do what is necessary, and the arab states have yet to commit to anything.
Not only is this becoming a big cluster****, but even a former Joint Chief said obama's plan will do nothing to stem the tide of ISIS. ‘Not a Snowball’s Chance In Hell': Former Head of Marine Corps Slams Obama’s ISIS Strategy And to make matters worse obama has totally ignored his military advisors and has signaled to the enemy we will not put boots on the ground. The tension between the White House and his military advisors is almost unprecedented and unheard of. obama has no military experience or knowledge, but that doesn't stop him from acting like he knows everything. This is just another example of his incompetence. Generals stand up against President Obama's ISIS strategy | Fox News

![]() But if we don't take care of it, it will become our problem sooner or later. And the longer we wait the higher the price of stopping them.

![]() I think we are taking care of it. Thousands of ground troops wouldn't do any better than the drones and missiles.

![]() I really hope you understand the difference between dropping a bomb on a possible target and sending in troops to identify and eliminate.
