Why does the cost of goods always rely on wages earners rather than a slight decrease in corporate profits? Corporations are more profitable than ever yet for some reason it's only wage earners that need to take a hit. Wage earners have been supporting corporate profiteering long enough. Time for the corporations to give a little something.

No way, Jose. Not as long as taxes are needed by the free teat government.

I'll go further and ask why are prices dependent on workers' wages and never executives' salaries and bonuses. There's very, very little hand-wringing by the right when it comes to that kind of pay increase regardless of what, if any, impact it may have on the price of goods and service; but woe unto the soul who wants the working class to make a little more, something closer to what the minimum wage used to be worth, because BAM! "Ten dollar Big Mac" they swear.

Ok, then let's keep wages suppressed and depress the purchasing power of 40 hours.

That'll get people off assistance.

No...

I say we stop with the bullsh*t regulations and handcuffs this administration puts on the private sector so they actually GROW...That increases productivity which, in turn, increases the need for more employees at higher wages...

It's Business 101...Not that heard, really...

Seriously, can't we just agree that the SCOTUS is not a reliable vehicle for ensuring that laws are enforced in a manner so as to ensure that they serve their intended purpose?

Corporate profits take massive hits all the time. What do you mean?

Further, the purpose for which most commercial corporation are created, and the risks associated with their existence are undertaken is to generate profits, not employment.

For years, I have invited those with the means who feel that this is an inferior model to create and demonstrate a new, superior one utilizing their own resources. I still await forlorn.
