Israel is likely to strike Iran this fall

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak have “almost finally” decided on an Israeli strike at Iran’s nuclear facilities this fall, and a final decision will be taken “soon,” Israel’s main TV news broadcast reported on Friday evening.

Channel 2 News, the country’s leading news program, devoted much of its Friday night broadcast to the issue, detailing the pros and cons that, it said, have taken Netanyahu and Barak to the brink of approving an Israeli military attack despite opposition from the Obama administration and from many Israeli security chiefs.

Critically, the station’s diplomatic correspondent Udi Segal said, Israel does not believe that the US will take military action as Iran closes in on the bomb.

The US, the TV report said, has not provided Israel with details of an attack plan. President Obama has not promised to attack Iran if all else fails. Conditions cited by Defense Secretary Leon Panetta for an American attack do not calm Israeli concerns. And Obama has a record of seeking UN and Arab League approval before action. All these factors, in Jerusalem’s mind, underline the growing conviction of Netanyahu and Barak that Israel will have to tackle Iran alone, the TV report said.

Israel’s leaders have also noted that president George W. Bush vowed repeatedly that North Korea would not be allowed to attain a nuclear weapons capability — a vow that proved empty.

Well, for openers, it should probably be noted that the single, anonymous source for this information does not constitute a "they" (plural).

And my guess is that this source may be hoping to apply pressure to the US to get involved, and spearhead the military assault upon Iran.

But that is just conjecture...

I believe they are diverting Iran's thoughts to what will really occur. This below is by far the best option; not bombing the nuclear facilities. That would not be technically possible. I feel truly sorry for the Iranian people who have to live with this possibility. To live in a country ruled by Islamic nutcases hell-bent on world domination is just something none of us are unfortunate enough to be going through.

Israel might attack Iran by using electromagnetic impulses (EMP) that could cripple the country by shutting down its electronics and sending the Islamic Republic “back to the Stone Age,” The London Sunday Times reported 9/9/2012.

EMP causes non-lethal gamma energy to react with the magnetic field and produces a powerful electromagnetic shock wave that can destroy electronic devices, especially those used in Iran’s nuclear plants.

The shock wave would knock out Iran’s power grid and communications systems for transport and financial services, leading to economic collapse.

The “back to the Stone Age” tactic was proposed in the right-wing publication Israel National News by Joe Tuzara, a US writer who said signs that Iran was speeding up development of nuclear weapons should be met with a pre-emptive EMP strike.

The idea previously was published by Dr. Joe Tuzara in Arutz Sheva. A former clinical research-physician-general surgeon for Saudi Arabian, Philippine and American healthcare systems, he wrote, “The wild card is in Israel’s hand - with Electronic Magnetic Pulse (EMP) inscribed on it. If Israel chooses one of its Jericho III missiles to detonate a single EMP warhead at high altitude over north central Iran, there will be with no blast or radiation effects on the ground.”

He explained that one effect of the EMP attack would be that, “Iran’s uranium enrichment centrifuges in Fordo, Natanz and widely scattered elsewhere, would freeze for decades.”

The WorldNetDaily reported three weeks ago, “Israelis have not ruled out a Jericho III missile launch to detonate a single electromagnetic pulse warhead at high altitude over central Iran."

The Sunday Times report quoted Bill Gertz, editor of the Washington Free Beacon, said that the United States expressed concern about using a high-altitude nuclear bomb to set off the an EMP attack.

And a good one if the election don't go Obamas way. What do people think? That after 2014 America is out of the Terror game?



No way people this is for the rest of our lives and our childrens lives, and America will be in the middle of it all, leading the fights.

Israel know this as do everyone else involved. Inculding Obama.. But he has yet to explain it to his own people, America.........
