As monsoon rains continue to pound Thailand, Bangkok is preparing for flooding. The country has been hit with two months of heavy rainfall, and more than 250 Thais have died as floods have swamped more than two-thirds of country. The Associated Press called it a “slow-motion catastrophe.”

<<Waters have flooded the Wat Chaiwatthanaram temple, a World Heritage site, in the ancient Thai capital of Ayutthaya, north of Bangkok.

Truly heartbreaking.

I was just there two weeks ago. There is a river that runs through Bangkok. I was looking over the lay of the land when I was there and wondering if it flooded. Guess I know now. I really need to stop visiting places because as soon as I do they have disasters. In the beginning of the year I was in Brisbane and then they had a flood, Then I went to Cairns Australia and the weather followed, Then went to Exmouth and they had a cyclone. Cancelled flights because of Volcanos

Stay away form the Snake River and hells canyon! That's my neck of the woods.
