Oh I believe it. Oregon's already got a bill in the works to charge a road tax hrough your mileage because they know fuel efficiency is on it's way and they won't be able to fund all their little programs.

Volkswagen station wagons had very small, well made engines. You can get those kinds of mileages-- but remember in a crash, you will have to be transported to the hospital by the use of a Sham-wow.

Low displacement, turbo diesel engines are very fuel efficient. They are also banned through regulation since they don't meet California emissoins stamdards. Nice to see the econuts shooting themselves in the foot once again.
