I can't access the link, but I have a question. If a drone is an unmanned object, and it is made to fly out to a target to destroy it, isn't it doing the work of a typical guided missile? I see nothing kamikaze about a machine destroying itself, loitering or not.

What kamikaze means in English?
1 : a member of a Japanese air attack corps in World War II assigned to make a suicidal crash on a target (such as a ship) 2 : an airplane containing explosives to be flown in a suicide crash on a target. kamikaze.

In English, it reads "wind of God", or "divine wind". Take your pick. In WWII , the Allies called them "Baka", which means "fool".

Now, back to the kamikaze unmanned missile.

Unlike a missle, the drone can fly to an area and loiter, waiting for the bad guys, before it locks on and destroys them.

I believe they also have un manned gunships that will fly back to base to refuel and reload. I don't if they are capable of in flight refueling.

I know they have un manned tankers now a days. I'm sure soon they will be refueling un manned drones.

Well, to a Sailor on a ship, a drone, whether it's loitering, taking a dump, or is on its way to blow something up, it's a target.

Also, I don't see anything divine (kamikaze) about an enemy flying thing.
