But they are NOT following the law when it comes to men. That is the point, which has nothing to do with the GOP.

If they are following the law, then they are most likely Republicans.

Why should we check that? You made the accusation about Taliban Republicans. You prove it.

1st of all , i think it has to be said, that when you join the military you've basically signed away most of your rights to your body.
the military puts all kinds of mystery meds into soldiers bodies, gives and denies various foods, meds and activity willy nilly. And basically enlisted folks have to say "yes sir" and live with it.

Having said that, it isn't fair that women should be denied the pills, especially since men get access to prophylactics and apparently Viagra. sheesh
But beyond that, far too many woman (and men) have been/are raped in the military by other servicemen. It's a problem that revivals or outstrips the RCChurch problems. And the the D.O.D. knows it and have done a piss poor job of addressing it. Seems to me the least they could do is provide birth control pills to any woman that request them.

Welcome to the wonderful world of insurance restrictions.

I take insulin, which for me as a Type 1 diabetic, is a life saving drug. It will only be dispensed in a maximum of a three month supply at a time, because not only does it moderate the insurance company's expense, but it supposedly prevents you from stockpiling at their expense and reselling on the black market.

That being said, and intentionally being vague here, there are some regional groups that accept donations of excess medications, on a borrow and replace basis for it's members. One month you have extra, it's donated. One month you run short, you borrow. Most groups are non-profit volunteers, and the only thing they ask for is postage, if you can't pick up.

If I need more than my insurance will pay for, then I pay for it myself, but some pharmacies will still give the insurance discount. (which is similar to sales at some stores, jack the price and then give you a discount and make sure you know they are being benevolent )

The part other of the answer is if you should die, they aren't out a lot of money.

And these are the organizations that people let make 'decisions' on their healthcare. They still haven't figured out what insurance really is.... say it with me now.... insurance is a front loaded payment mechanism and is not healthcare.

This is what Nancy Pelosi told us we would find out once they passed the ACA bill.

Apparently few have noticed ACA was not healthcare but a boondoggle slush fund for the supposedly evil Insurance companies.

I blame the GOP for letting Obama and the Democrats get away with it. And I'm betting their donor base is why they have yet to fix ACA or repeal it entirely.

Call it a learning experience. I already read the real news.

Why private health insurance should be outlawed.
