You're just not going to believe this one...

How far off the rocker has he gone?...You decide...

I have no comment worthy...

I understand his point. It really isn't that hard to grasp.

Its funny that as soon as he pointed out some facts about our relations with Israel he has become crazy. There is a couple of things that you can't do in the U.S. and remain relevant. One is say anything negative about our relations with Israel.

Are you referring to his incredibly unbalanced, prejudiced and just, plain dishonest screed against Israel?

"Hamas has never accepted the Oslo Accords that are the legal basis of the Authority they seek to govern, much like other totalitarian parties of yore that participated opportunistically in a democratic process" cf. Weimar Republic.

They do not seek peace with the Jewish state but its elimination.

Ever since Carter used the term aparthied he has been attacked. All he did was point out the facts and folks freaked because they don't want to face the facts. Tell me the last politician to critic Israels policies.

I am not anti Israel (Required Statement) But they are not without guilt. That being said doesn't mean you support terror. There is a middle ground. They are both dishonest. The Palestinians and Israelis are both guilty of it.

Israel is not an apartheid state, so Carter was indulging in propaganda rather than pointing out facts. His book was so laced with innacuracies, omissions of important details and outright fabrications as to be worty of "Electonic intifada" or the International solidarity movement. The book was clumsy, cartoonish and beneath contempt as far as serious scholorship is concerned.

Sure, they are not without guilt, but if you support Carter's demonizing screed, you support the notion that they are uniquely and completely guilty and the Palestinians are guilty of nothing -- this despite the TRUE facts of the matter.

One cannot simultaneously support Hamas and stand against terrorism. It doesn't work that way any more than saying you are against racism while supporting the KKK. If Jimmy were to seek middle ground he would not be standing so squarely in the Palestinian camp.
