On Fox News earlier today I heard that the plans, equipment and manpower is ready to do it if need be.

Man I fear we will be in another war before I die. If not done correctly it could become WWIII, sense Russia, N. Korea, China, and several other S. American counties have some kind of arrangements with Iran.

No bombs can penetrate the underground nuclear facilities, so what would be bombed? Infrastructure, media outlets, military bases?

I am not sure that is quite accurate.

It is my understanding that the US is now manufacturing an even larger bunker-buster bomb; and that it could do the trick.

And I have heard rumors, in the past, that Israel might be considering tactical nuclear weapons; which would also work. (Of course, this would abrogate the West's taboo against the first use of nuclear weapons; which is now about two-thirds of a century old, following the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945...)

Here in America cause of a few mistakes in 1983 under Regan the Soviets (who have 3 people that can send nuclear weapons off) were on the verge as a war game by NATO was playing out. Called Able Archer.

The only thing that saved American and the Soviet state was a missile commander with everything set to fire who held back from notifying the top Soviet staff who though that Reagan would attack mother Russia.

Later the UN gave him a medal. While before then he was drummed out of the service and retired.

I said that to say this, SHOSHANA very few shelters/bunkers can withstand any direct hit by a large nuclear bomb and most targets get more than one.

Once the west heard the truth of the above situation Reagan had newer bunkers built all over our country, but do you think the general public is going to be allowed in them? Sorry it won't happen.

Thank you for that information. I saw the Denver airport conspiracy programme a year or so ago. Actually they did not make it out to be a conspiracy, more like fact. Do you think there are underground cities prepared?

As stated not for the average person. But about everyone with connections to the government.
I have heard of underground tunnels that connect to certain military bases and possible places like the Denver Airport. Travel times within these tunnels is over the speed of sound.

The main tunnel can hold 2 B-52's side by side.

Now the equipment to do this would help change our way of life yet has anyone heard/saw any thing like this equipment?

But the govt., like a lot of secretes...

Could at the last minute average people be told of this, it is possible but your on your own if it gets out of hand or one area is filled up and the doors are shut.

Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth and I was a high school senior my government and democracy accelerated teacher said world war 3 would start in the middle east.

He pointed out the Russians actually cared that their people would be killed in a nuclear war too that's why he trusted we would never have one with them.

Iran is all about hate of jewish people. What's sad is they were actually moving forward then Hitler's long lost son took over.

Actually I'm not sure if the leader of Iran is Hitler 2 and Hugo Chavez 3 or the other way around. They both have the same ideals.

To be perfectly honest I live not much more than walking distance from Ohare airport which would be an early target in a nuclear war. I wouldn't want to survive the first exchanges.
