No, I do not. When my son was in the army and facing deployment to Afghanistan, I worked hard to convince myself that we're doing something noble, something worthwhile- worth risking the lives of our children for- over there.
What else are you supposed to tell yourself, in that situation? But since he was discharged, I'm back to my original opinion: we should've gotten out long ago. Nothing we're doing there is worth risking lives for: our own, or theirs.

I definitely think we should be getting out of both Iraq and Afghanistan, but I also think we need to be cautious of Iran.

Hell No.
We should never have gone into Iraq in the first place. Afghanistan? That was a good idea and started well but then GWB and the clan started all the lying and diverted a god idea and now both wars are utter crap. We should leave the entire area and prmote stability with trade instead of tearing the region apart with war.

The loss of American soldiers outweigh what ever goals were set up for them to be there any longer.......
Bring them home from Afghanistan and Iraq...... Send the message that were are not coming back and if they can't get their **** together the next step will be thru the air.....
