Whereas I'm sure that some of these instances occurred (in spite of what the book may say), I also believe it has been blown way out of proportion by those with an agenda.

You may paint however you want. Truth is Hippies, Black Panthers, any Little red book carrying person under 30 wasn't voting Republican. Can't remember the republicans being responsible for defunding the South Vietmanese and then watching them get butchered. Watched how many drown under the guise of "boat people"? That whole subject is way too involved to get into on this thread.

Let me just say that you have tried to simplify a very complicated issue and are totally ignoring the millions of "conservative adult" Americans who turned against the war also.
