I never think of the Coast Guard the same way I do the Army or Navy. It is a search and rescue entity. And many times sea fairing my relatives have been assisted by these heroic people. I'm sad to see this video. What has happened? Have people lost their senses entirely? Or were they always this way and I'm just now catching up...

To me just more of the same we have way to many lose cannons in America.

And the CG does a lot more today in defense of our coasts against drugs etc.

One would think these service members would have more respect for each other...

Military personnel aren't exempt from committing crimes. They are simply a subset of society at large, and unfortunately there are a ****load of people in society at large that have no qualms committing violent crimes.

It's a story about *******s/scum/guys who need to be put away. It's NOT a commentary on "people". And she may be making things up anyway...didn't watch the entire vid. Any of her claims validated?

Yet a story repeated every day some place in America.. Like murder, home invasion etc.

Our prisons are full in about every state, and plenty of unsoved cases to boot. Why is that?

I call it the dumbing down of America... Sense the 60's it seems to have gotten worst.

Ever watch Bait car, worlds worst criminals, or any of the shows that cover gangs or the prisons?

Seems to me that each generation has a lot more very stupid people, but I am just guessing. You could be right and she might be lying. But far to many times it isn't a lie.

I had a friend in nurse's training who went through similar experiences of harassment in a medical ward in the Air-force. It was easier for her to get out and take her education grant than fight it.
