There are two magazines I get called Reminise, and the other is The Good Old Days, like the photos here they brought back some good memories. Thanks1

The photos are amazing. For some of the small towns in Montana and Idaho, pave the roads and swap out the cars for modern ones and you could hardly tell the difference between 194X and today. Many of the same buildings and storefronts still exist. That's one of the things I like about Montana, driving through some of the small towns and feeling like you're driving through time 50 years ago.

Color photography in 1910? I didn't realize it was around back then. I guess you learn something new everyday.

I wikipedia'd it. First color photo in 1961 (Wow!), but the technology didn't resurface until about 1890.

At the equivalent of $25 in today's money per photo, and the equivalent to $750 for the starter kit, no wonder it wasn't real popular - it must have cost that guy a fortune to photograph Russia back then.

Some things I noticed:

People wore colorful clothing back then. You get the impression from movies and whatnot that clothign was pretty much drab grays, browns and conservative shades, but looking at these pictures, that's not the case at all.

I didn't notice one fat person in any of the pics.

This picture taken today would have resulted in the kids in the pic being put into counseling for violence prevention:
