One possible answer is that the wearing of a mask forces one to touch their face more often to "readjust" it.

The mask reduces oxygen saturation from 99% to 88% over a period of 8 hours working time. This in a healthy person. That lowers O2 level reduces the effectiveness of our immune systems.

With a guy like me, 73 with COPD that is a problem.

Current Democrats don't teach. Proof of the pudding, our dismal student school scores.

Less than 10% of the teachers in our public schools and universities are Conservatives.

Our students rank 26th in the western world. We used to rank #1.

you fought "new math" then you fought raising standards. your party wants people to be dumb yet think they are smart.
congratulations; in remaining trump supporters they proved you won that fight.

Do tell, has the US scores on math comprehension gone up?
Raising what standards? More have been lowered, along with teaching how to take a test, rather than the actual subject matter. What part of that is actually educating children?

You are apparently of that group that getting a degree means your smart or intelligent. It doesn't, if you don't know how to use what was shown to you, can't think through a problem (critical thinking skills) because you were being told what to think, and after all is said and done, you have no ability to apply those years of 'education' to real life.

And for all this, some people seem to think they shouldn't have to pay for that 'education', that it is societies responsibility to pay for their 'education', while they pretend they are better than those they are asking to pay for it.

I put myself through school Worked a 40 hour week, went to college taking 18 hours minimum. Mom and dad gave me housing, tuition and grub at great sacrifice. I got their money's worth.
If paid for by a third party, one often achieves what that's worth.

A free education is like free advice. Usually worth every penny.

It is predominantly millennial''s that are the dominant participants in the current demonstrations/riots. Don't pray for them. Pray for our nation.

I wish Gov DeWine good luck in prosecuting anyone as there is no law that can be cited.

$750?! how much are people's unemployment checks?

I wonder it they'll run it though the same tortured "LEGAL" track as most traffic "laws". That is, it's an "infraction" not a law. It's consider a civil mater an administrative "code violation".
So usually you have LESS rights... no right to jury trial for example.

I suspect lawyers will begin to challenge this crap. how successful they will be . Well we can pray.

Were this "mandate" limited to the first 15 days we were told would "flatten the curve" I think most fair minded Americans would comply with eagerness and respect. However, the 15 day mandate is now over 115 days.

It's not about safety or health but to see how far Americans will relinquish their freedoms. The percentage of our population that does turns out to be an amazing quantity of cowards and fools.
