Default Psoriasis

I've had psoriasis for many years but only in the last couple or so has it spread to my face. This, of course, distressed me quite a bit and I've been searching and searching for the right regimen to keep it under control. I've tried many different, some very expensive, products in an effort to keep my face from looking mottled and red. And I finally found something that works for me, and while it may not work for everyone because everyone's condition is a little different and responds to different things, it could. So in an effort to help anyone else here, or your loved ones who have psoriasis or eczema, I thought I'd share.

I use Adovia Dead Sea Mud Soap to wash my face daily.

But this next thing is what really threw me for a loop when I tried it. I decided to try Bare Minerals powder makeup to help cover the redness. They had a good deal on a trial size (because that **** is expensive). Lo and behold, not only does it cover the red very well, it actually helps keep the redness at bay. I actually use the makeup as part of my regimen to keep the psoriasis under control and it takes very little to do it! And, a man could still use it because it's just a face powder, it's not like some full on makeup. The trial size isn't that much and it's lasted me for a few months so far. I just dust some on my face every morning in combination with washing my face at night with the mud soap and it's keep the psoriasis at bay.

I also soak in dead sea salt baths once or twice a week, but that's mostly for the rest of my body and scalp.

Anyway, since I figured it unlikely that someone would ever consider makeup to be a treatment for a skin condition, I thought I'd just share in case someone on here has the same issues or knows someone who does.
