Are those the stats for the drivers on Hwy 97 between Redmond, OR and Madras, OR, because that's what I'm basing my observations on. Of course, I only made that patently obvious in my post, so I don't expect you to actually pay attention to that fact....

And trying to apply it to all women.

As noted by your comment...

I didn't really expect you to be civil in your response.

You didn't disappoint.

C'mon, let him have his fun. He wants to backpedal and act pissy! It'd be cuter if he were 5.

Yeah, that's why I made it so clear that I was talking about my driving experiences and not all dirving experiences.

Glad to see that I didn't dissappoint you. Maybe some time you could return the favor and not dissapoint me by making an actual intelligent post, instead of one that does nothing but parrot standard liberal talking points or post anything more than "a conservative took a stand on this, so I must take the opposite stand".

I'm not backpedaling one bit, I stand by my observations 100%. Drive Hwy 97 between Redmond and Madras Oregon and see how many of the drivers going slow in the passing lanes or speeding up when they hit the passing lanes, passing when they shouldn't, driving at erratic rates of speed, etc. are women. Maybe every other part of the country has better women drivers, but as for my neck of the woods, they hold the lion's share of the poor driving techniques. About the only crappy driving technique I see far more men doing than women is tailgating.

BTW - Just because women get in fewer accidents, get fewer tickets, etc. does not equate to better driving. My wife has a perfect driving record and she's a HORRIBLE driver - goes too fast, brakes too hard and frequently, wanders all over the road, rolls through stop signs, cuts people off, etc. The guy that rides to work with me has only 1 ticket and his driving is rotten (spends most of the time with his hands through the steering wheel drumming on the steering column shroud).

See.. people say that. But I don't get it. I don't think I'm complicated at all. I'm pretty damn straightforward.

I see women that ACT as though they're complicated. But I don't think they are at all. I can see right through their manipulations, childishness, and self-centeredness.

We're not complicated. It's just that some women like to make men jump through hoops because they think it proves something. Some women like to play games because they get some kind of perverse pleasure out of it, I guess. IMO, it's a weakness not to be straightforward, forthcoming, and honest. Well, weakness of character, anyway.

Given that I used to drive a big ole ambulance at high rates of speed in heavy traffic, I've no doubt could drive circles around you.

But anywho... I don't see any difference in the genders of drivers and their driving skills.

"Remember teh old jokes about "women drivers"?? I've got news for you - they're still valid, just not very PC."

Can you explain what that means? Is it incorrect to assume when someone says the "women drivers" jokes are "valid" they're saying that those jokes are true?

Yeah, OK.

I hope you have mirrors on your vehicle, so that you can avoid an accident as you're backing up.

get over yourself, ambulance drivers are the worst cause they think they know how to drive better than anyone.
