I would avoid any state that makes people register their gun(s). It is none of the business of the government what gun(s) I may own, not that I have any now after the accident on the lake.

I still shake my head in wonder about the 'gun free zones'. Obviously, someone thought they had a solution to a problem, but they really didn't take into consideration logic and common sense.

I actually did some light research regarding my gun purchase in PA. I may have been mistaken that it was 'registered', per se. When I purchased it, my information was documented at the shop where I bought it, waited my 3 days (I believe it was 3) and picked it up. When I filled out my CCW app, it asked about if I owned a fire arm, and I provided the information.

But when I look at info re PA gun registration now, it says firearms are not required to be registered at all, and it's been 20 years since I've lived there, so no 'registration' likely exists at this point.

I hear ya brother, and I should not have stored all my guns and ammo on your boat. My mistake.

Yeah some people read it as, "Come on in, we can't protect ourselves"

Those signs remind me of the time a Stop sign and a Neighborhood Crime Watch sign were stolen from the same street on the same day, in our town a few years back.

Don't forget the places where most mass gun casualties take place..."gun free" zones...

Far more people have been assaulted and/or murdered with hand guns.

We know that the "Progressives" will not be happy with a ban on AR-15s only.

I have come to the realization that progressives, anti-gun people, fence sitters, "pro-second amendment, but...", and all the other types of gun weenies suffer from tunnel vision, and will never, even for a few microseconds, entertain the idea that the bad guys love defenseless victims. The anti-gun stupidity virus has ensconced itself permanently in their rectums.
