Default Man Sells Junk Guns To Buy-Back Program, Buys New Gun With Cash

I heard about this earlier. I kind of wonder if it might be a good way to make some money off these gun buyback programs. Selling pieces of crap zip guns.

Nonesuch was literally able to sell pieces of scrap metal and garbage back to the ‘no questions asked’ program with an intention to purchase a rifle or pistol from a pawn shop after the sale. He stated to his followers that he would post again when he settled on a new gun to purchase.

The ‘guns’ that he sold included a .22 zip-gun style rifle as well as a 12-gauge grappling hook gun. They were functional but by no means a practical weapon or method of defense.

Not too long ago one of the buyback programs paid $500 for a decommissioned machine gun wall hanging.

That's the problem with these programs. You're not going to get my thousand + dollar functional weapons for $75 but I might entertain the idea of building a few zip guns in my garage.

Says the man is "from Missouri" but doesn't say where this buy back program takes place.
If it's true he will go to jail soon.
Looks like a generic youtuber out to get some likes. So far he only has 28 and 2 comments

"YouTuber Royal Nonesuch made a quick $300 by taking 3 firearms that he’d built out of scrap and selling them back to the state of Missouri."

What exactly will he go to jail for? There's nothing illegal about selling no questions asked guns to a no questions asked buyback program.

because he admitted in public they weren't real guns.

Funny, I didn't see that. Still don't. He admitted they were the crappiest guns he'd ever built. Based on the photo, I'd agree.

The point though, is that these buyback programs do not get working guns out of the hands of criminals. I'd guess the street price of an illegally possessed handgun is $200-300. No criminal is going to sell one back for $100. And if they do, there are lots more where that one came from.

So what? I can admit in public that I pulled them out of my ass. What part of "No questions asked" is hard to comprehend?

Imagine a few thousand zip guns have been made, and some are turned in at one of those Elton John/Justin Bieber concert tickets for guns deal. If any questions are asked by the ones with an IQ higher than 46, then don't you think the word will spread, and no more zip guns will be turned in? Huh? HUH?

I don't care if the states buy back guns or not. If they catch anyone with weapons such as the Vegas shooter or sandy hook shooter used they should bring back hanging just for them imho.

but this guy in the video is bragging he did something unethical and borderline criminal to make money.
is that what the NRA is teaching these days when they're not busy kissing Russia's behind?

You advocate the death penalty for someone simply having one of those weapons in his possession? If I were not a respectful person, I would say you are full of shlt with your deranged view of ownership of weapons. But I'm civil, so I will say instead, once again, "May all your dreams come true", and top it off with "May you live forever."

I won't even entertain your full of baloney second paragraph, but my parakeets will love reading what you wrote.

If they shoot a projectile using gunpowder, they are guns. He won't go to jail because he didn't break any laws.

I took it more as making a point of how ineffective these buyback programs really are.
