They just burn ammo faster, but make the shooter a lot less accurate.

There is a way to hook the thumb of the trigger hand into a belt loop, such that you can now push forward with that hand, acting like the spring in a bump stock. When you fire the rifle, recoil will move the gun rearward, and by balancing the forward force exerted, against the pull of the finger on the trigger, you can make essentially the same series of events that a bump stock does. Btw, were do you think the idea for a bump stock came from??

The idea is old. The concept can be home built with fair ease. Not sure making them illegal will help matters much..

therefore long waiting list till they crawl up your bud hole with a microscope and you can buy a hunting type rifle and registered certain amount of ammo per decade.

Based upon the standard you proposed in your first post in this thread my pellet rifle would require a background check and registation.

Now you see it is this kind of talk that will get you no were fast.

A left wing crazed Trump hater (like your self) shot up Las Vegas, now you want to take the gun rights away from the right wing. Like we will ever let that happen.

If you push this to far, you will find a revolution at the end, and lots of death, for the left wing.

Your side is no longer in control. Left wingers need to learn bout controlling them selves. Your Trump hate and anger will be used against you, and your wishes. You and the left lost the damn elections, and will again. Now it is time to take your orders, as you no longer make them.

8 more years should be about right, for the left to learn a lesson or two..

Regards, Kirk

So now you're expanding to not only the registration of the firearm, you want the ammo registered too.

Where in the Constitution is the government granted the authority to demand these registrations?

Thanks. I'm not a gun person but I've learned more about them since Fast and Furious. So the Bump Stock is nothing more than a device allowing the gun recoil to load the chamber refiring as the trigger "bumps" back against your finger. It seems that there would be other simple devises with the same concept that would also have to be included in the proposed ban. To ban this one device would be political knee jerk unless they plan to outlaw semi autos that can be used with device.
With only this information, I'll vote no.

Only semi autos can be fired in the "bump" fashion. My bet is the left eventually will call for all semi auto's to be banned along with high capacity magazines. Even though it was a extremist left wing idiot who shot up Las Vegas.

I think annoying, insufferable anti-gun weenies who have the need to babble on about gun control should be fitted with a cork in their mouths. Not referring necessarily to anyone here.

I smell a "lifetime NRA" member. The type who begins his bullshlt gun control spiel with "I am a life member of the NRA, but...".
