Cool video thanx for posting.

He was a little off in his information about the M40 recoilless rifle. It is not actually 106mm it is 105 mm. It was commonly referred to as 106 to avoid confusion with a 105MM howitzer. My recollection is we referred to it as an M106 although it was actually an M40. He also called it an artillery piece when it is more of a mechanized infantry weapon. It is designed so the 50cal round matches the trajectory of the 105mm round. The 50 cal round is fired to spot where the 105mm round will go. Typically it is a line of sight weapon.

He also referred to the M60 machine gun firing a .308 round. That is semantically incorrect. It fires a 150 grain full metal jacket bullet in a casing the same as a .308 deer hunting rifle. However the military refers to that round as a 7.62 NATO.

I would have liked to see the video get more into Vietnam era stuff.

Where is his museum located? I went to one in Gourney IL.once. It wasn't as extensive, but still interesting. They had track mounted 175mm and 8 inch howitzers and a PBR (swift boat) up on blocks. All of the big stuff was outdoors exposed to the elements. Driving past it it looks like a military junk yard.

His property is located outside Colorado Springs.

There is another video floating around showing the rest of his museum, which is '50's - '60's stuff centering around Presley.

Interesting fellow.
