Default A Handy Guide For Liberals Who Are Suddenly Interested In Gun Ownership

I can't take credit for it, but I approve this message:

A Handy Guide For Liberals Who Are Suddenly Interested In Gun Ownership – Monster Hunter Nation

Quote:
That title isnít joking. This post is aimed at my liberal readers. Iím a libertarian leaning Republican and gun expert, who thinks you are wrong about a lot of stuff, but Iím not writing this to gloat about your loss. For the record, I disliked all the presidential candidates.

Judging by your social media over the last few days many liberals have been utterly terrified that your government might turn tyrannical or that evil people will now be emboldened to hurt you. Iím going to let you in on a little thing the other half of the country is familiar with to keep those unlikely, yet catastrophic, events from happening.

And that my lefty friends, is 2nd Amendment.
Having just gone through a war against a tyrannical government, the Founders understood that governments can go bad, so they made sure to note our God given right (or weíll say naturally occurring right, since a bunch of you are atheists) to keep and bear arms in order to defend ourselves. The 2nd Amendment isnít about hunting or ďsporting purposesĒ, itís about having weapons that you can fight with. As an added bonus, being able to protect yourself from a tyrannical government means that youíre a lot better equipped to deal with any common criminal who decides to hurt you.
Before I get into the details about how to enjoy your newly discovered 2nd Amendment rights, let me just say that I get youíre sad, angry, bitter, and fearful. But just like my people over the last few elections, youíll get over it. The really hyperbolic freak outs about Literally Hitler make you sound just like the Alex Jones crowd worried that Obama was going to herd Christians into FEMA camps last time. So take a deep breath and relax. Your friends and neighbors are the same as they were last week. The vast majority werenít voting because racism, they voted against the status quo and a really unlikable Democrat. And no, they arenít going to round you up into cattle cars.

But in the off chance they do, letís get you prepared!

Read the rest. You won't regret it.

This liberal with a gun idea is a bad one, except for one thing. If they are armed that means we can kill them with no fear of prosecution.

A liberal with a gun, makes it "self defense"

I can't read something that starts off on the wrong premise. Owning a gun isn't a left right issue. I have friends who own guns and use them who are as progressive as me. Being a Republican doesn't make you super gunslinger either. So when the author figures that out let me know. Oh, and Liberals are as religious as Republicans. In fact I find that Liberals are more Christ like in their churches than the right who are often angry and judgemental. Liberals are more willing to be inclusive and forgiving in their Christianity. Also, Liberals like my son serve in the military and are willing to sacrifice their lives for this country. Another notion the right often gets wrong. So lets stop pigeon holing people based on politics. Thanks

Tell me which party is the party of gun banners? I know this will take tons of research and contemplation.

Also, please see: Generalization.

I'll wait.

That would be true for most libs/cons with the rare exceptions of the libs that had a secondary MOS of 0933 or 0931 for PMI (primary marksmanship Instructor) when he was in the Marine Corps. ANDÖhas a range on his farm that varies from 200 to 600 yards to keep his aging shooting eye sharp.

The stereotype and the reality of the people they think they are talking to never mesh very well do they?

What a crock. Your "party" would ban all firearms from civilians if you could pull it off. You won't. Not now, not a million years from now.

And that number is a lot lower than all the right wingers. the Independents the
Conservatives and the gun owners of America or the plain tired of the B.S. and turned from the Democrat Party to vote with the other people who have the ability to think for themselves.

And not just obey the leadership when told to vote, protest, act up or march while say ___________ whatever.

As most people like to think and act for themselves.

Good deal...

Just remember for everyone like you describe on the left, there are probably 10 or more on the other side.

Add the current military marksmen whom are not very happy with the left, and you can double that to 20.

Lets hope it never comes down to that.
