It has become a little cottage industry to try to make fun of Gore. Sure wish to hell we had him as POTUS the past 7 years instead of the assholes we were stuck with.

Gore's a con artist of the highest order. He's created a whole industry selling carbon credits and is getting rich off it. This industry only exists becaue of what Gore has promoted - the lie of GW. He doesn't even try to practice what he preaches, in fact, what he really does is 100% the opposite. He lives a grossly consumptive lifestyle and is the epitomy of how we shouldn't be living from an environmental standpoint.

You should be glad we have a two party system. I can't tell you the last time a republican had an idea to preserve anything for the future. They are the ultimate "me first" party. The conservative party. Huh? I won't deny that the left can go overboard also. But come on. I just watched Dominici on TV. He sounds like he's gonna start crying if we don't hand over everything to the energy companies. The answer is somewhere in the middle. We all know that. The far left say's its all our fault. The far right say's nothing is our fault. I won't put my money on either.

Maybe he should be promoting "con-man credits" instead.

How about this: If Al cares so much about GW and truly believes that carbon offsets will help, why doesn't he sell them at cost, instead of making millions off them. He's already a millionaire, so he doesn't need the money, so why not cut the price on them so that more people could buy them and even further offset their carbon footprint? Why doesn't he live up to the standrds of behavior that he promotes?? This kind of pattern of behavior indicates that's something's very wrong in the Gore camp. Like with Sen. Obama, the left only wants to focus on the individual occurances and never look at what the whole picture shows.

Have you asked him? I mean have you investigated it yourself. Do you think it is his goal to rip you off? Lets say your right that his plan doesn't add up. Do you think that its because he is just trying to get your money to enrich himself? You see I don't mind criticizing Gore if he's wrong. But to always attach sinister motives is what gets my goat. I don't always agree with McCain. But I don't think he is trying to get rich by staying in Iraq. I just think its a bad idea. I think McCain is a pretty good guy. I just disagree. I don't know why it can't be the same towards gore. I think he thinks he is doing good.

Why yes, isn't it obvious?Obviously after. If he actually wanted to do something about Global Warming he would have done something during his eight years as Vice-President. He doesn't want to do anything, he just wants to make money.

Kudos. We agree. Some more 'middle of the road' thinking would be to continue oil exporation while also investing in alternative sources of energy (read: nuclear).

Again, I don't care if we drill I went over why I think that whole thing is BS, But we are past investigating alternatives. We need to get behind helping homeowners make the upgrades.

The guy has never shown a greedy streak. He is already mega rich. I see no evidence that he is motivated that way. Its a good jab. But it is out of character for him.

Too many things simply don't add up... I've got this talent for seeing patterns in things. I can look at data that makes most people's eyes spin around in their heads and figure out what the trends are and what they mean almost instinctively. So when I start seeing patterns of behavior like this, my analytical side takes over and starts looking for trends. In Gore, I see someone who's an opportunist. He proved that in 2000 when he tried to change the elction results by very selectively picking and choosing which districts to demand recounts for. Then I watched while he jumped on the GW bandwagon and is now making millions off it. I've watched this guy for the last 16 years and he's got a stong tendency to pursue avenues of advancement that other people seem to miss, his father was the same way. This can be an admirable trait, but in Gore, it seems to have turned into a tool of self-advancment at other's expense. Gore could be doing FAR more than he is doing for the environment, yet he choose not to. He's put himself into the position of being the champion of the "green" movement, yet his lifestyle and personal choices show that either he doesn't truly believe in this or that he's a knowing hypocrite who willing to tell other to change, but is unwlling to change himself. Lot's of pieces to Gore's puzzle and they don't make a pretty picture. He's as slick as they come and IMO, based on what I see from his actions, he's rotten to the core.
