i was invited by a friend to hardcore politics and a couple days later i get a pm from someone i dont know inviting me here.

it seems there is some history of these two.

since im new to both im curious.

I am glad I made the right move. HP turned in to just what I predicted. An echo chamber. The new mods came across as a bitch's. IMHO. I just joined this site. I have another site I frequent. I like these mods. I hope they do well. I could do without some of you. But thats the democratic process.

Well, since I don't have a clue what anyone is talking about and was invited to here from a completely different board...

Did I remember to say thanks for the invite? LOL!

Went on a search for the site, found I joined there in May, never posted anything...Guess that although I joined there, the site itself didn't hold enough intrest for me to participate in it, thus the reason I had no clue what ya'll were talking about.

Sorry, I really don't know the whole story. Al I know is that I joined HP and things were going along OK. But then the owner was getting a little over bearing. Then the mods that made it a good site left. Followed by new mods showing up and throwing their wieght around. And they had almost never even posted on the site. So I left too. And decided that I would spend some time finding a better site. I found one that I like. Today though I was invited here. And there are some old commrades and the good old moderators. So I'll keep my eye on this site. Hope it turns out well.

Thank you guys for the support. It was a nasty break but cnredd led us in making the right decision to abandon the HP altogether. We could see a storm brewing with the lies and the owner's overbearing hubris. Then when some other mods joined in the blatantly false smear tactics, it just got to be too much. This is a great place here and we welcome all who would take part in and have fun with civil discussions about relevant topics.
