Default Question about members' titles

I see that some have cutomized the title below their name to things like “Down Boy,” “Enlighened One,” etc. I read the FAQ and looked around the CP and couldn’t figure out how to do that. How can I change my title? Thanks.

Go to User CP, then click on Edit Your Details.
There you will see a place for Custom User Title.
Type whatever you want in the space, then click save changes at the bottom.

Thanks. I just discovered that the title I want is one character too long to fit, darn it. Now I have to come up with something else.

Someone asked about another member's User Title years ago...here's how I answered...

Some forums allow members to change the title under their name only after a certain number of posts or if they donate to the site...This site allows it right off the bat...

The software DOES have a default of what the title shows under a member's name if they don't change it...The default is as follows...

Junior Member = 0-29 posts
Member = 30-99 posts
Senior Member = 100 posts

A couple of months ago, I suggested to the Mod Team we change that with the following revisions...

Intern 0-99 posts
Aide 100-299 posts
Guide 300-499 posts
Counselor 500-999 posts
Master 1000-2000 posts
Scholar 2000-4999 posts
PW Enlightenment 5000+ posts

This was met with no dissent...

Of course, I forgot about the whole thing until you just mentioned it...So I made the changes to the software so the above mentioned revisions are now in place...

Once again, these are the default...members can change them at their whim...

And Magnum and Markonee were the same person who had a conversation with themselves

Magnum admitted on another forum that he had 18 identities on one of the forums he is a member of.
