Default User Tiltles

A member just PM'd me noticing their "User Title" just went from "Member" to "Senior Member" and wondered how that happened...

I'll explain it publicly for others that may wonder about it...

We are currently using the software's default titles...They work like this...

From 0-30 posts, a member's user title will be "Junior Member"

From 30-100 posts, a member's user title will be "Member"

From 100+ posts, a member's user title will be "Senior Member"

The software allows the ability to change the number of posts and the name of the titles, so we could make it to where 0-10 posts could be called "Newbie" or 1000+ post could be "Expert" or something similiar...

Quite frankly, we just never got around to it...I may start the hamster wheel in my brain to create a different system that is unique to the Political Wrinkles forum...If I do, and the Moderator Team agrees to the system, I'll implement it and make it public in this thread if/when that happens...

Default Re: User Tiltles

I'd also like to note that the members can change their User Titles themselves to whatever they'd like personally...("princess", "Mister Wonderful", "Dirty Old Man"...really anything)...

I just ask that when doing so, don't put something disgusting or insulting to the other members...also don't make it something that invites discourse on a political forum like "Democrat's Worst Nightmare" or "Obama's Massah"...

Note - Me (User Title - Administrator) and the Staff (User Title - Moderator)...I purposely set these up to where they CANNOT be changed...I don't want want members thinking the staff could be hiding their position by changing their title...
