Default Avatar Size

I just tried to change my Avatar picture and got the message that it is to big and needs to be resized. I have no clue how to do that, is it something someone here can do if I send the image to them?

Thanks.

put you picture in your picture gallery, and then post it (so I can see it and save it). I'll resize it for you.

1) it's easier to upload an avatar from your computer than link to it on a website (for me anyway).
You might try saving your picture and then just opening it with paint, the easiest to resize for most pics I think.
2)If you have trouble doing that send the pic to me via PM and I will try to resize it and give you a link
3)Or you can utilize Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket it's free and after you use their tools to resize it just right click it and save it to your computer and then upload to your avatar.
4)I will be around tomorrow. Getting sleepy now

Just go to your "paint" program and resize the picture. I think all computers have that basic paint program, don't they?
If nobody's helped you yet, I can do it for you. Just post the image you want resized.

I have found if you save the picture you want on your computer and then upload it on the avatar page (as opposed to simply pasting the link), it works almost every time, regardless of how large it is.
