I'm still deciding whether to keep it where it is (below the Shoutbox) or placing it above the Shoutbox...

I think above the Shoutbox. People will then be aware there is a Shoutbox as a few have said they hadn't even known it was there. It also is an important facility. I personally click Quick Links and select Today's Posts to see latest posts which are highlighted, but others have other ways of keeping track of their posts.

Anyway, I believe above the Shoutbox is best. Actually if it were a better looking Stat box I think even at the top of the site above the forum list, but you probably think different.

PS Another reason why above the Shoutbox is if someone uses the scroll mouse to scroll down to the Stat box the mouse gets stuck in the Shoutbox while travelling down to find the Stat box!

Is there a box for old statistics? Shouldn't leave them just laying about.

Looks good. If you like it, you can add a couple more stats that are useful and that people enjoy.

In regards to location, I like above the Shoutbox, but that is just me.

Today I have used, as usual, 'Quick Links' on the horizontal bar at the top, and 'Today's Posts' on its dropdown menu to see updated posts because I think the Stat Box is too out of the way below the Shoutbox.

I personally would like the Stat box above the Index itself because above it is certainly is the most convenient place. You can see straight away the latest posts as the Index itself is not the best way to find the latest posts and people have to go into User CP, or as I do go into Quick Links in the horizontal banner.

The Shoutbox is actually probably best left at the bottom of the Index. Sometimes it gets trivial or there may be in future some fights although I hope not, and I have noticed fights on other forums' Shoutboxes which would easily put a newcomer off registering.

I do not think the Shoutbox should even be beside the Stat box. That would make it hard to read the print.

PS - You have changed the position of it cnredd, and it looks much better now.
