To put a Youtube video in your post, make sure you copy the actual address at the top of the video's youtube website...

If you take it from elsewhere, it might not work...

Here's why...

The software will embed the videos for "youtube.com"...not "youtu.be.com" or any other variation.

Also, the address should contain "watch" in the address instead of words like "mobile" or "nomobile"...
You should also remove any crap after the apersand symbol (&) and the symbol itself...

So THIS won't work...

----http://www.youtu.be.com/mobile?v=kQFPIoVRLic&feature=grec_index

This WILL work...

----http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQFPIoVRLic

I could not get the video to show on Preview Post.
I gave up but when I clicked Submit Reply the video showed.

Just thought I would mention that. I have noticed that before. Sometimes just submitting the reply will show the youtube clip.

I've seen that, too, and should've mentioned that...Thanks for pointing that out...

Also, if you're going to youtube from a link at a blog or other media site, remember to take out the "feature=player_embedded&" crap out...

If the video I want to post, such as the above one, is not of a youtube variety, I just copy and paste the main fact/person's name/other main details into the youtube search bar and that usually brings up the one I want. I double-check it first by skimming through it and making sure the duration is the same as the one from the original news article.
