I've been a member of both sites since their inception.

They're both good forums with interesting people and challenging threads.

Does one have to be better than the other? Can't they just both be good?

If you're implying that that's what happened, then that's disappointing...
I am not implying anything, it was just a question.

Thats what I do at times. But there are different discussions on both forums.
Except for the Local News thread I run there and here. Dustin mentioned this forum to me and I found I liked it. I needed to make some adjustments (at both sites) but I think they have paid off.
I started there but find this site more of a homey type with people for the most part rational in their replies.
What gets me over at PF I can start a thread on such simple things and 30 pages later some of the members are still banging heads.
Yet I still belong as a member there unless they want to ride themselves of all Conservatives.

So after Dustin left did the exchange go under?

Hey tristanrobin..
Yeah redd has a good site. Its a little quiet at times. But I would rather have a few quality folks to yack with then a forum full of flamers. I visit a couple of sites that have to do with my business and my hobbies. But for politics this is enough excitement for me.

I agree completly. Thats why I spend less time there than here now. Like I said post one thought and it takes up to 10-30 pages day after day. I just check back after ten pages and ask the same question. lol
Which none has an answer to.
Remember th epost on th enew movie from Ben Stine. Look at it here and check it there. Each one trys to out due the other, then when intell fails th enames come into play.

In my opinion PF has turned into a congregation of Obama worshippers. Anyone that questions the Messiah's character get's flamed from all sides, becoming a liberal feeding frenzy.

Don't you feel that their moderators are biased? After all, they have a mods lounge where they hold their tribunals deciding the fate of the members. I find that a bit incestuous, don't you?

Maybe if you didn't think he was the messiah you wouldn't get flamed. I will agree that there is a cult of personality here. But he isn't the one perpetuating it. Its the Oprahs of the world.

I agree with you robin. But one has to admit there are some zingers at PF not to mention the out right socialist. And America does get bashed around a lot more over there. I just ignore it till I have to say something and just go about posting news, but then you might already know this... lol

AD, one has to play by the rules set by those in control, period. Quoting you:

I have gotten about 4 infractions and Levi got me banned for mentioning his age once long ago. Heck I wear them like I do my C.I.B. with pride. But I also know the mood of the froum and know the next time it won't be a infraction, but a warning ban. I guess walking point and being in the L.R.R.P. has never left me.
I PMed you and if you agree I can try brother. But the choice is up to you.
