You don't like tears for fears? I've never heard of that. Hows that work?

While today I am not completely repulsed by them ... back in the day I was. I am a product of the 80s metal scene. If it wasn't metal it was crap. While I don't necessarily hold that same view today I'm still not a fan.

I'm 39 years old --- in my high school & young adult years I was going to Iron Maiden, Ozzy & Motley Crue concerts. Even if I liked Tears for Fears...admitting it would have gotten my ass kicked...

and of course...I've seen KISS four times...

Thats funny I'm 52 and I grew up listening to Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Zep of course. Never liked Motley crue though. Different strokes. I was just cranking up Sabbath yesterday. I still crank it loud. Paranoid great. I like queens of the Ice age and Porcupine tree now. The guys at the Hong Kong Hard rock Cafe know me. And when I get there they always play me the Metaillica DVD with the orchestra. Its pretty good.

KISS was one of the coolest concerts I've ever been too. That Paul Stanley sure can wiggle his butt cute.

Oh, and yeah--Zep and Ozzy are pretty cool too. Not to mention the B-52's. And just where is Alice Cooper in all of this?

I was married to a rock drummer. We hosted the proverbial "if the house is a rockin'..." weekends. Fun times...
