Well, I am sure you didn't have to stand in a bar with a Guiness (bought from the liquor store on the corner because, God forbid, you order a non carb concious alcoholic beverage in San Francisco) while your "other half" danced around to it thinking it was something NEW.

I about tommy-gunned the place when I realized this is what they had done to Bob Marley...

It's VERY tough to find a good remake...and it's not worth the 99% percent of outright atrocities...

Took me three minute to find a decent remake of that song...


...And you know what I think of techno music. But come on!!! At least this captures the spirit of what Marley was portraying in that song. It sounds good.

A big part of remakes is the royalty value...some artists sold out and let their music be redone (horribly) for the almighty dollar...
