Dave Coulier: I 'Really Hurt' Alanis Morissette

Quote:
Full House star Dave Coulier is finally speaking out about inspiring Alanis Morissette's bitter, break-out hit "You Oughta Know."

The comedian told the Calgary Herald that he dated the much-younger singer-songwriter – but that he had no idea she planned to take their breakup public.

When he first heard the song, "I said, 'Wow, this girl is angry,' " he recalled. "And then I said, 'Oh man, I think it's Alanis.' ... I listened to the song over and over again, and I said, 'I think I have really hurt this person.' "

But there's no lasting animosity, he said – adding that the exes even decided to meet up once.

"We saw each other and hung out for an entire day," he said. "And it was beautiful. It was one of those things where it was kind of like, 'We're good.' "
Wow!...I woulda lost that bet...

Next we'll find out "You're So Vain" was about John Candy...

I just can't believe she went down on him in a theatre! I've always wondered about that, him being an ugly sob and all...lol.

She isn't the shallow kind of person who would judge a person by their looks, I guess.

Full house. Is that the one with the ugly little twin girls who grew up to be really cute?
Or is it the one with Micheal J Fox?

Anyway, I don't recognize the names.

Why do people feel the need to reveal their inner most secrets to the ENTIRE FREAKING WORLD?

I guess this is the "myspace generation.

The first one.

Michael J. Fox was in "Family Ties."

I never watched the other show.

Not once.

But I knew about it.

O.K. I used to make my kids so mad. They liked it and always wanted me to watch with them. I couldn't stomach its stupidly hacked hamming. (I mean you can be a ham, but let's have some style about it )
The other thing was it came out about the time they were giving all the ugly people starring roles in movies and sitcoms. Cause.. gosh darn it they're people too ya know!
But I never understood why I should waste my valuable time watching some ugly little kids act like babies (which they were). Ugh!

That's where I'd seen him before!
Guess the execs were sitting around the pool one day and one said who are we gonna get to host this dumb show that I'm convinced the (Dukes of Hazard loving) American public will go gaga over?
Oh, yeah the unfunniest guy in that stupid sitcom!

I'm just surprised that Alanis was so upset with him for dumping her and moving on so quickly. Snopes just told me there were plenty of other relationships she's had that the song was speculated to be about, so obviously she's been going down on lots of guys in theatres. If you're going down on lots of guys in theatres how can you be upset or suprised when they dump you, move on, and don't want you stalking them?

Meh ... Canadians.
