I've always liked Morgan Freeman as an actor, even if some of the movies themselves sucked, usually due to lousy writing and stupid themes. the fact that he drives a 1997 Nissan makes me respect his personal character that much more. I also found it funny.

It was his female friend's car and as it turns out he's getting a divorce. I'd be curious to see what he really drives on a daily basis...

But seriously, as in the case of Jack-the sexpot- Nicholson , I don't care how many girl friends he has. he's a brilliant actor and, besides, I've always had a soft spot in my heart for anyone with freckles.

Oh, don't get me wrong ... I just thought we should all stop praising him for humility for being out driving around in his girlfriends old beater of a car. Surely he could hook up his chick on the side with a better ride than that... and what a bad way to have your wife confirm that you haven't stopped sleeping around on her.

Poor guy ... needs to get back to acting and such ... and leave the womanizing to guys who won't run off the rode while getting a handjob.

Just to clarify, I read that he has been separated from his wife since December 2007, so he wasn't running around on her. He probably just made the statement through his publicist (which is no one's business BTW) so as to avoid any speculation, and decided to file for the divorce once and for all.
