If I had been overshadowed by a dead guy, upstaged if you will, I might want to create something over the top myself. In fact, the marketing department might encourage me to do so.

Surely Bale can't claim his mother, father, wife, or sister carved a smile in his face, but surely he can INCREASE the publicity and box office numbers by adding to the lore.

We should all be careful to judge, but on more levels than most understand.

I like Bale. I remeber thinking he could be a star back in Empire of the sun. Swing Kids was good. He has charisma but it didn't come out to well in Batman Begins. But he did OK. I haven't seen the new one. Hey I under impressed with a bunch of actors. Tom Hanks is generally playing Tom Hanks. Harrison Ford. He reminds me of the idea in the movie zoolander. That you have some patented looks. Well Harrison Ford is really just like 3 looks. Mad, Confused or smart assed. OK rant over

Let's not even get started on Keanu Reaves, talk about one-dimensional.

Makes me think of another great movie "Unbreakable" which I thought was a good pilot for a series or an entire st of other movies.Still waiting
If you simply think that 'Batman' is a movie series, not meant to be reinterpreted then you don't understand the nature of classic literarture.

Please, please let them keep refining stories. I enjoy it.

If in my lifetime someone actually re-makes Star Wars: Episode IV I'll feel happy, not sad.

Hell, I'd like to see a remake of 'Some Like it Hot', but we don't have the talent to pull it off these days....
Brilliant brilliant comedy.

"Some Like It Hot" with Johnny Depp, John Leguziamo (or however he spells it), and - believe it or not - Reese Witherspoon.

Add Kevin Costner to that list - as well as Mel Gibson, Sean Connery, Michael Douglas, and Will Smith.

Also, for somebody known for his "disguises," Eddie Murphy is ALWAYS the same.

Right about Tom Hanks plus he's been fortunate and smart in the roles he's had.
Sean Connery has one look--Sexy--but I never get tired of it. He could do a toilet paper commercial and I'd like it.

I don't think Vince and Colin could pull off REMOTELY looking like girls - and IMO Kate isn't even pretty.

But, it might work LOL
