Keys Talks About Her Conspiracy Theories

Keys, 27, said she's read several Black Panther autobiographies and wears a gold AK-47 pendant around her neck "to symbolize strength, power and killing 'em dead," according to an interview in the magazine's May issue, on newsstands Tuesday.

Another of her theories: That the bicoastal feud between slain rappers Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. was fueled "by the government and the media, to stop another great black leader from existing."

Keys' AK-47 jewelry came as a surprise to her mother, who is quoted as telling Blender: "She wears what? That doesn't sound like Alicia." Keys' publicist, Theola Borden, said Keys was on vacation and unavailable for comment.

With all of her money, you'd think she could buy an extra layer of tinfoil to sleep with so the transmissions from other planets don't get into her brain...

I like the way she sings. Sometimes I wish stars would just shut up.
Maybe Tupac's musical career was a conspiracy to cover up the fact he was a drug lord.

LoooooooooooooL she is one nut case. With those ideas. Not even entertaining or worth the time to read. Now she sure shouldn't have any firearms anywhere around her. I'm not worried about her safety but the public's.

Yall act like she's the only nutcase star. I think you have to be a bit o nutty to put up with that lifestyle. I couldn't handle all those people following me hoping to take a picture of my farts. That has got to make you go complete batsh*t.

The AK47 around her neck is far more disturbing than the conspiracy theories, in my opinion.

I think this goes a bit further that batsh*t. But that is IMHO only.

For the record, she's come out and said that her comments were edited and printed out of context ... and the AK47 pendant was given to her by friends because her music 'knocked 'em dead' (as somebody who has spent many years in the theatre, that is a very common expression).

Much ado about nothing.

Wow. I don't know Alicia Keys accept I have her most recent album and its OK. She is political I know because one of the songs is about Bush. Other then that I don't care what she has around her neck. Or for that matter what she thinks about things. She isn't really an A list star IMO. Anyway maybe she is rich enough to pay all those reperations some think they are owed
