Hardly any of the West Coast teams have nicknames that make sense. I don't think there was ever a lot of trolley car dodging in LA either.

No really, sad too. I grew up in middle Mizzou ... Wouldn't have felt myself close to that either way.

IT MUST REALLY SUCK TO BE FROM A TOWN LIKE oklahoma city, waco, nyc 9/11, and such. Sneaky sneak in...

No one will ever think of your town but for other things. Then again, it sucks to be from no where and no when too... they'll get over it.

At least the intensity was there.

The Lakers have a problem. They do not have a pure No.1. They have a bunch of No.2's, playing the number 1 spot. The problem with that is, shooting guards don't pass the ball, they shoot it.

We need a pure No.1, like John Stockton, Steve Nash, Chris Paul, etc.
