Default The Tennessee Titans

The 28-12 win, Saturday, of the Titans over the Ravens--and in Baltimore, yet--must surely have sent shock waves across the NFL. After all, the Ravens are certainly the best team in professional football.

But the Titans may well be the hottest.

As a resident of Middle Tennessee--and a longtime resident of Nashville, itself (where the Titans are located)--I would probably not appear to be an impartial voice. (I watched the game in its entirety; and I rooted hard for the Titans, from the opening kickoff forward.)

But I still think that the Titans may now be the hottest team in the NFL.

That's wat important...

A few years back, the NY Giants backed into the playoffs and ended up beating the undefeated Patriots...all because they had the hot hand...

Running back Derrick Henry is a beast. I can't recall an NFL player being humiliated like Henry dd to Earl Thomas.

The Titans are a real strong young team with a new strong young head coach...

They have gone farther this year than anyone thought they were capable of....

They have the best running back in the league and a solid QB and defense....

That said, the Kansas City Chiefs have the best QB and the best tight end with great wide receivers and they can score at will when they are hot.....

My Texans found that out after leading 24-0....

The Chiefs scored 6 unanswered touchdowns and won 51-31.....

Most points ever scored in a playoff game.....

The Titans are good no doubt but, beating KC will be on a whole different level.....

Chiefs over the Titans, and 49ers over Green Bay then 49ers over the Chiefs.

Don't count on an epic collapse like the Texans defense showed last weekend. The Ravens were supposed to have an unstoppable offense led by MVP candidate Lamar Jackson but the Titan defense held them to 13 points.

The Ravens tried stacking their defense against the run. Henry went off for nearly 200 yards rushing. When the Titans are chewing up defense with their run game they are also chewing up the clock. Mahomes can't work his magic without the ball.

If I had to bet I'd go with KC straight up. It's going to be a close game like in week 10 when these teams met. Say, who won that one?

I hear ya and hope you are right but, KC is peaking now and will be very difficult to beat.....

Don't forget, the Texans beat the Chiefs earlier this year also....

It's hard to beat a good team twice....

So I have to root for KC now. Two former Seminoles are playing on that team.
Feb 2nd = SB
And I hate 49rs unless they're playing the Pats.

Go Chiefs!
