Default Sting Says His Six Children Won't Get Trust Fund Money

When I read stories like this two things come to mind. First thing that comes to mind is I find that sort of attitude dickish. Leaving behind some money for your kids doesn't necessarily equate to them being lazy or not having drive. I find that if you raise your kids right the wealth doesn't matter.
The second this that bugs me about it is why is he telling everyone about it? Is he trying to prove something? It sounds like a private family affair. Someone once said that youth is wasted on the young because they don't know how to appreciate it. Same with this sort of thing. IMHO.

LONDON (AP) — Pop icon Sting says his children won't be getting trust funds from his vast fortune, assuming there's any money left in it.

The 16-time Grammy Award winner and former frontman of The Police, told The Mail on Sunday that the vast wealth would be "albatrosses" around the necks of his six children.

The singer-songwriter who grew up in a shipbuilding community in northeast England says he told the kids, "there won't be much money left because we are spending it!"

"People make assumptions, that they were born with a silver spoon in their mouth, but they have not been given a lot," he was quoted as saying.

Sting's wealth was estimated at 180 million pounds ($306 million) by the Sunday Times Rich List.

I'd say the opposite is true.

Sting Says His Six Children Won't Get Trust Fund Money
1. He's being a dick with his children, if he could use his dick to make them, then he should allow his dickish brain to allow for some share of the wealth that he (being a dick about all this) most certainly has.

2. It should be a private family matter and kept out of public speculation.
At the end of the day, who cares?

I like Sting, but not when he's a d _ _ _ ..........
