Hmm... I never thought it was her. George RR isn't really explicit since so far the actual murderer hasn't confessed and the 'scene' wasn't recalled. A known liar points the finger to the grandmother, and the scene does set it up for that - both in the book and show, though just slightly different in the show. However, I've no doubt Margaery knew about it.

Oh yeah the make up and cinematography as well as the acting, directing was great in the death scene. One of the best I have ever seen.

Well there are a lot of suspect. At first I thought it was Prince Oberyn but then I thought that was to obvious.

another thing they have an intentional (I thought) slightly lingering shot of the cake.
I fully expected the kings uncle's girl friend to be in there getting cut up. It just looked too easy that she would get away although I hope she did/. Also if she did die it would make it easier for the midget to become king which is what I think will happen in the long run.

I haven't read any of the books, but I feel about this writer as I felt about Stevie Ray Vaughan. First time I heard him play guitar I thought either Hendrix had a bastard child or this was him incarnate only evolved.
This guy Martin is Tolkien times 3 in 3D
so good to have people who can still make up good characters and plot. I hope he makes a stinkin bundle of loot.

Joeffrey's little brother becomes King now and the imp is going to left dangling in the dungeon for a while I'm afraid.

The imps girl friend, (who I adore,) gets away I think with Sansa and they start a quest looking for Sansa's family that is left.

From the author:

Quote:
In the books — and I make no promises, because I have two more books to write, and I may have more surprises to reveal — the conclusion that the careful reader draws is that Joffrey was killed by the Queen of Thorns, using poison from Sansa’s hair net, so that if anyone actually did think it was poison, then Sansa would be blamed for it. Sansa had certainly good reason for it.
In the show it was a necklace, not a hair net.

NO, my sister has the entire set and when she is done with them she'll give them to me.

Was the necklace the one that was given to her by the drunk ex-knight?

Yes. In the book he gave her a hair net.

OH crap, now I see it, Sansa picked up the cup that Joeffrey dropped and wanted his uncle to pick it up, that's when she poisoned the cup.
