Oscar Winning Actress Celeste Holm Dead at 95

In addition to her film work, the accomplished actress was also a staple in the theater community, making her debut on Broadway in The Time of Your Life. She went on to act on various television series as well, guest starring on dozens of shows, including, All Star Revue.

My first encounter with this actress was when she played the best fairy godmother ever!

RIP indeed. Very talented woman. She will be missed.

First film I saw her in was All About Eve, though Gentleman's Agreement was probably her best work, winning an Oscar for her performance.

I don't know that she will be missed. I didn't even know she was alive. But she will be remembered.
