Default Favorite TV "Will they or Won't They" couples

I watch 2 tv shows every week (there are some I sometimes watch but only 2 that I watch every week).

Castle and Bones.

Both had classic couples where you wondered "will they or won't they?" I should say they had them because in both cases the couple is now together.

The hardest thing for a shows writing team in this case is decided the when. Timing has to be right.

I think Bones waited a bit too long and Castle it remains to be seen may have done it too quickly.

Who are some that you have all liked now or in the past?

The most disappointing to me was MArk and Susan on ER. Just when they were going to be getting together Sherry Stringfield left the show.

It rarely works when they do, does it?

I preferred the Matt Dillon and Miss Kitty approach, when it was "Do they, or don't they?"

Then there's the Ross and Rachel technique in Friends where you connect them in the finale.

I'm trying to think of a will they, or won't they, where they did, and it worked. Maybe Buffy and Spike on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Chandler and Monica kind of worked on Friends, but it was background in an ensemble. Although personally I found them tedious.

I stopped watching Grey's Anatomy but didn't Izzie get together with that little weasely little intern. I think his name was George. That would have been horrible. I think I saw about 5 minutes of them together, and it was.

Jerry and Elaine only lasted an episode on Seinfeld.

Penny and Leonard in Big Bang Theory are will they, or won't they - again.

The two I want to see get together - Michael and Fiona on Burn Notice.

The two I wouldn't want to see get together - Tony and Ziva on NCIS.

I use to like Bones, but this season has gotten to silly, they failed with their attempt in uniting.

I think the best united couple on TV was on Boston Legal when they united Shatner and Spader in the final episode, that was funny.

Moonlighting comes to mind.
I guess the greatest couple who never was Della and Perry on Perry Mason.

Scully and Mulder on X-Files. So subtly well done
Buffy and Spike - so erotically well done (OMG)
